Stella is a Brittany Spaniel mix, 11 years of age. As a puppy, Stella found herself at the Yankton pound where she was mistaken for a dalmation. She was adopted but had an unfortunate habit of chewing furniture (a problem sometimes related to separation anxiety) and was returned to the shelter. Stella's mom and dad, Coral and Paul, already the proud owners of a dalmation named Porsche, were contacted to see if they would adopt another "dalmation". Of course, Paul and Coral knew at one glance that Stella was no dalmation puppy! However, one look into those big, brown, "puppy-dog" eyes (see pics below), Coral and Paul knew they had found their new dog, dalmation or no!
At Noah's Ark we know Stella to be one of our most happy-go-lucky patients. Quick with a smile and employing a tail that never stops, none of us can resist Stella and the way she makes a day at the Ark just a little bit brighter. Thanks Stella!
