Cooper Bortnem-Harrington 1994-2010
Cooper_Bortnem_resting.jpg

Cooper passed away at 5 pm on Tuesday, December 7th, 2010.  A short stay at the Denver Dumb Friends League resulted in a chance encounter on a Thursday evening in November 1995. On a visitation, Cooper jumped on a chair, kissed Kip on the cheek, and stole his heart.  The rest was history.

In her younger days, she enjoyed chasing squirrels and frisbees in the parks of Denver
and trying to bite young children that, ironically, seemed to be magnetically attracted to her.

As an accomplished traveler, Cooper loved to hike in the mountains, visit parks, and ride in the car. Her favorite places were St. Mary's Glacier in Colorado and Harney Peak in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Cooper is survived by her friend Darby. She was preceded in death by her cats, Marley and Josie, her best friend, Spencer, and her doofus rival, Wally. She will be remembered fondly. In lieu of condolences, please hug a pet, donate to an animal shelter, or rescue a pet of your own.
