Kitty Pup Cheese Cookies
1 cup boiling water
1 cut rolled oats
1/3 cup butter
1 cup shredded cheese
¾ cup cornmeal
½ cup milk
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tsp. Chicken bouillon granules
3 cups all-purpose flour
In large mixing bowl, stir together water, oats, and butter, set aside for 10 minutes. Stir in oat mixture, cheese, cornmeal, milk, egg, sugar, and bouillon. Add flour, a little at a time, mix well until stiff dough forms. Place dough onto floured surface. Knead for 4 minutes; add remaining flour until no longer sticky. Roll out dough ½ inch thick. Using cookie cutters cut shapes out of dough and place 1 inch apart on greased cookie sheet. Bake 325 degrees for 35-45 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
