ELYSIA

Elysia Hunter is a native of Rapid City and has over 5 years experience working in the Veterinary industry. After graduating from St. Thomas More in 1994, Elysia lived in Mankato, MN and Portland, OR, before spending 9 years in the Washington, D.C. area.  She holds a BA in Communication with a minor in Women's Studies from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA.  Elysia enjoys travel. In addition to visiting many states in the union (including Alaska), international trips have included France, Singapore, Indonesia, Croatia, Czechoslovakia, Canada, and Mexico.  In 2007, Elysia returned to Rapid City and her beloved Black Hills. Shortly thereafter she became re-acquainted with a high-school sweetheart, Brett Hunter, whom she married in August 2008.  Their animals include a lab-pit mix named Rocky and three domestic short hair cats named Chunk, 'Tater, and Turkey.  Elysia, Brett, and Rocky spend every spare moment of their free time hiking, camping, biking (Chunk, 'Tater, & Turkey prefer to stay home), and barbecuing.  To see more pictures of Elysia's animals, click here.
